About us

Made for the people who don't love gyms

Our story

After over a decade working as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor, I opened my own Pilates studio in 2023.

After experiencing my own back injury, I saw first-hand how much the right kind of exercise could change the way you move, feel and live. It completely changed my perspective on exercise, and the way I wanted to help people train.

I watched clients who had struggled to stay consistent finally find something they genuinely loved. They were showing up, building strength, finding community and, most importantly, creating movement habits that lasted.

With a background in Clinical Pilates, I’d always understood the importance of intelligent, considered movement. But I started noticing a pattern. A lot of my long-term clients weren’t getting enough progressive strength training, and it wasn’t because they didn’t understand the benefits. They simply didn’t want to go to a gym.

They loved the studio. The environment, the coaching, the community, the way they felt when they walked out.

So I started asking: what if they didn’t have to choose?

I began building more strength work into our Reformer classes, using dumbbells, spring resistance and thoughtful programming alongside the Pilates foundations they already trusted. The response was immediate. Clients were getting stronger, feeling stronger, and seeing results they hadn’t experienced from Pilates alone.

That became the foundation of The Space Pilates. Somewhere people can build real strength, move well and actually enjoy exercise, without feeling like they need to become a gym person first. Especially as our bodies and priorities change through our 30s, 40s and beyond.

Our DNA

We're about real people

It flows through everything we do, the team we are, and the culture we create in the studio. All the little moments that happen in the week. We celebrate ordinary people doing amazing things, not on film, but in real life.

You are seen

We know our clients' names and their stories. We remember the things you mention in passing, because you matter here, and it shows in every class.

Success on your terms

Progress is personal. Your win might be your first full plank, or just showing up on a hard week. Both get celebrated equally.

A safe space, truly

No mirrors culture, no comparison, no intimidation. Every level trains together and everyone is welcome exactly as they are.
